I have been walking with Sarah down an path for several years. We started out getting to know each other by literally rubbing elbows as massage therapists in a quaint local clinic. We worked diligently and focused on clients and patients and then returned home. Sarah and I really connected on a professional level hashing out better ways to approach situations. But then when our individual work paths took us different ways and we did not see each other consistently, we began catching up for dinner. And for now, since we haven't shared a meal in quite some time, we rely on late night phone chats that last hours. Before either of us realize we have have clattered away into the early morning hours, always without regret, except for the challenge of the morning awaking. Ugh.
Sarah has recently written a book in two published forms. She offers a blue option for boys and a pink option for girls. She spent a season of time with a friend of hers that experienced a medical mishap with her son, that changed lives forever. Sarah, already passionate about mothering and her family, poured her heart into this book for a great cause that you can learn about on her blog. Her mind is a busy thing, which is why we can burn so many hours trusting that the tower signal will last till the end of our conversation and we won't get cut off. She second guesses herself, she over thinks things, she stays up way too late most nights. But listen, Sarah has this depth and breadth about her soul that doesn't really fit into our world. She is full of spirit. She is, as she would say, opinionated. But I call that Sarah's soul and her willingness to share her heart. Soulful, not opinionated. Soulful Sarah.

It is especially an honor to learn what inspired her to write this book, gain understanding on the aspects of her goals and to hear the story of the little baby boy who inspired her and so many. A mutual friend spared some time to shoot Sarah in a self descriptive video. It's a good thing to see.
